Dear Jessica,
Retired now at 67 from what I made a pretty all-consuming job, I finally joined Facebook which I had never felt I had the time to do before.
Bingo. Up came your name and I realized that it was a major part of the way you ran your photography business. Not only that, when I clicked on April, 2011, I believe that I got a chance to visit you and your Dad on Ayrshire. It was really fun.
Both Mona and Kristin are married now. Mona teaches elementary school music in Oak Park, Illinois public schools. She has two boys: Henry is coming on five and Michael is not yet two. Her husband, Tim, teaches scenery design at Loyola University near Evanston.
Kristin left San Francisco after she was married in Bolinas, California. She has moved to NYC where she is an architect for a smaller design-build firm called Made which specializes in working with smaller clients that frequently want existing buildings remodeled rather than new structures built. Her husband, Jonas Lerman, graduated from the law school at University of California Berkeley and is clerking this year for a Circuit Court judge in Manhattan.
My wife, Linda, is scheduled to retire at the end of this school year so after that we’ll both be trying to figure out what it means to be retired together.
Please say hello to your father for me. I will be in Minneapolis this June for a little while and I would like to see one or both of you if it can be arranged.
