a peek at Astro …
on Thursday night I went out to an amazing home on Lake Minnetonka to meet some excellent pup parents with the plans of photographing a dog named Astro. And I left with some of my favorite photos and a serious love for Boston Terriers.
I have just started going through my images but couldn’t resist posting this one because I love it. Definitely more to come later of this little guy!!
… too cute!
Happy Saturday!
need a reason to send a card??
… look no further!
I am SUPER excited to share that I have what I think are some cute, cute cards with some of my favorite pups on display photographed and ready to sell online! Woot! They are posted on my etsy site.
I love etsy. I have found some amazing stuff on there. And I have made some great connections through the site. And while yes, photography on it’s own is artsy-craftsy, it’s not the same as having something finished and in your hand. That’s a big part that I love and am extra giddy about! Yes, I adore nature and think preserving trees is important but boy, I’m also a HUGE paper lover. So take a look at the photos of my cards and then head on over to my little corner of etsy if you are interested in owning {or giving!} these bad boys.
voila!
I only have one set of 6 and one set of 12 listed on the site but I will relist as they sell, so don’t fret, there is a HUGE supply! And in case you haven’t done the math at my site, if you order 2 sets (so, 12 cards) you save $10! Gotta love saving!!! 🙂
hobbs
Hobbs is the kitty of a good friend of mine … Or shall I say she is Hobbs’ person. Hobbs is a lovely, friendly, hungry cat who really has Charly wrapped around her {medium sized} paw. In comparison to my girls crazy and winy antics, she’s a bit of a bump on a log. But before you get in a tizzy saying “that’s so mean to say about a furry cat like this!” I will add that this made photographing her a joy 🙂
lovely gal!! stay tuned for more from the Hobbs/Dijon duo…
and the winner is …
Last night, after a very long weekend I dumped out oodles of folded paper (some in 1/2 and some in 1/4 depending on the entry technique) from my large blue mason jar onto my foot stool in the living room to gauge what I was dealing with. 32 people dropped their name into this jar on Saturday at Dog Days Westonka for a chance to win a free session with moi.
I was tempted to see if anyone put little hearts over their ‘i’s and instantly declare them the winner but Murray reminded me, no this is a random drawing, I can not be biased. So I tossed them all around like a big salad and picked one from the pile.
And the winner is …
Hooray Jackie!!! Congratulations!! I’ll be in contact with you very soon!! And contraire to this photo, I do have your email 🙂 Thanks to everyone who came out to the event (especially if you got rained on) and stopped by my booth. It was excellent to meet all of you!!
