moa … not the mall but the dog
Last weekend we had the amazing fortune to spend a long night {and breakfast} with Mur’s great friend from high school, a friend of mine from my Survivor days 🙂 and his amazing wife who I can’t wait to spend more time with! And guess what? They have an adorable dog! So until they can make it to the cities for a family portrait, just 2 photos of their dog Moa is all I’ve got to share. But I can promise that once I can get them in front of the camera with less than 100 degree weather outside, it’s going to be nothing short of amazing 🙂
SO cute!! can’t wait for you guys to make it up here soon!!! this is proof that it would be worth it 🙂
big news…
so I’m not a big person to gush and share too many personal details with many people but this seems like something I should probably share …
this is my beautiful new ring. a lot of people might say this is a long time coming. and really, family would definitely say that 🙂 but nevertheless, after 6 years together, Mur and I are planning a big hoorah to celebrate us getting married!
… and now since family and close friends know, it seemed time to take photos of the jewels. it’s frickin HOT outside right now, but since my neighbor has an amazing array of flowers that seemed like the perfect setting for these images, I decided to sweat it out and make this happen.
ok … that’s enough oohing and ahhing 🙂 but I’m suuuuper excited and while I plan to keep the blog {mostly} pet centered I can also promise that super exciting wedding details will show up here. Because really, what girl can keep wedding details from a reading audience? 🙂
basket-o-kittens
I lucked out a week or so ago and got to play with a litter of 6 of the fuzziest, orangest, cutest kittens ever. It was amazing! They were a little skeptical at first about being out of the safety of their kennel and being out in the wild, but the warmed up to it rather quickly …
Those eyes!! Bah – I wanted to take {at least} one home so bad. But I knew that 3 of the 4 members of my household {yes, that does include the girls} would not be thrilled about the surprise. But if anyone is interested, there are a few sweet, sweet kitties who need a home!
olivia and lilah!!
After a lot of weather and schedule trouble, Olivia and I finally were able to get together this week. And whoa, it was amazing! 🙂 Lilah is a Pit Bull/Lab Mix with possibly something else thrown in for good measure. Basically, she is a gorgeous (large) girl who turned out to be a ham. I just have a few faves to show for now, but I’m super excited about this shoot! Stay tuned …
this girl LOVES her toy. LOVES them. So much that she shares everything inside of them with anyone who would be interested. Or not interested. I guess that doesn’t really matter 🙂
Thanks ladies!! It was a joy to finally meet you!
